Brooke Johnston has reached an exciting milestone by graduating from The Ohio State University. Her journey with us began as an undergraduate volunteer in 2024, and since then, she has consistently demonstrated remarkable passion and dedication to clinical research. Now, as she steps into her new role as a clinical research assistant, we are thrilled to welcome her as a full-time member of our lab team.

At the start of the semester the Gorka Lab visits the Ohio State Involvement Fair to get OSU students excited about research on the brain and behavior. One of our clinical research assistants, Kathryn Jenkins, has been accepted into Ohio State's neuroscience graduate program. She will be starting this program in August 2024 and continuing in the Gorka Lab as a graduate student. One of our clinical research assistants, Jordan Difatta, has accepted a new position as a clinical research coordinator.
