At the start of the semester the Gorka Lab visits the Ohio State Involvement Fair to get OSU students excited about research on the brain and behavior. While handing out bracelets made by Dr. Gorka's kids and other brain-themed goodies, we had a great time sharing information about our lab. Look out for us at the next involvement fair!

On November 5th we had 6 lab members present their posters for IBBI Research day 2025! It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our progress and connect with other research happening in the brain, behavior, and immunology labs at Ohio State. Congratulations to Annabel, Brooke, Ohanna, Shiane, Rachel, and Lillian on these presentations!

One of our clinical research assistants, Kathryn Jenkins, has been accepted into Ohio State's neuroscience graduate program. She will be starting this program in August 2024 and continuing in the Gorka Lab as a graduate student. We are so excited for you to continue your education here and wish you all the best as you start this new journey!

One of our clinical research assistants, Jordan Difatta, has accepted a new position as a clinical research coordinator. During her time, Jordan was a vital part of our Belsomra study and we are thankful for her time and dedication to our lab. We wish Jordan the best of luck in her future endeavors!
